Gee, what should I write about myself? I do it in my blog – pretty enough.
I’m German, born in 1961 – yeah: that much old – and have three children, who give a wonderfull meaning to my life, unknowingly (hmm, maybe knowingly after all). In German I use the word “Sinn” what means much more: meaning, sense, sometimes mind and sometimes purpose. All those words I do mean when I think of my children.
I reside and work in Hannover, live most of my time there as well but occasionally I live in pretty much otherlike places in this world. And that’s what I want to write about: My life in all the other places.
To take photographs is very important to me, too. To perceive moments intentionally and to keep them. Not on video but in a picture. To take photographs is like painting with light. Is to stop time.
My diary is my fast companion. Because I don’t want to give up my analog life totally I paint and scibble into it, i glue some patches into it and I blot it with anything that’s good or nasty. I tried the iPad. In Panama a cock kicked it out of my hand while I tried to catch him on video. Since then it has a scratch on the screen. It survived luckily. My diary could fall under an elephant and would survive. And be even more worth to me.

Ich nehm zwar schon meinen Laptop mit in Urlaub,aber mit dem Aufschreiben hast du Recht. Ich sehe schon die Zeiten auf uns zu kommen,in denen keiner mehr seinen Kindern oder Freunden oder sonstwem noch Bilder aus der Vergangenheit zeigen kann.”Sorry,die sind damals mit auf der Festplatte verschwunden, der Laptop hat den Geist aufgegeben,habe den Stick verloren,die CD (Technik von gestern:-) ) ist mir abhanden gekommen oder verkratzt.” Meine Bilder aus den Urlauben mit den ganzen Motoradkumpels hab ich jedenfalls noch ganz normal (oder historisch) auf Papier,zum Glück. Also so super praktisch wie das mit der Technik immer hingestellt und beworben wird (bsp. Cloud) finde ich das nicht. Was passiert eigentlich ,wenn die Cloudanbieter merken,daß sich das alles nicht lohnt …………………………………………

Hi Jörg,
da hast Du ja sowas von völlig Recht mit dem Tagebuch; und wenn Du alle Aufschreibungen im Stil der unteren Abbildung machst, hast Du wahrscheinlich sogar mehr Speicherplatz auf Deinem ‘jBuch’ als das iPad … 😉
